Was a fun day. Always good to get out.

Thanks wombat and wussyPup for all the work with your saws. wombat will probably be feeling it in his back tomorrow as he did some pretty serious clearing out front. Thanks everyone for chipping in to move the trees/branches. Good team atmosphere today.

Was good to see Pete's Pond. Glad we made it up there. Thanks for navigating dingo/wombat.

I got some pics I'll post when I get some more time.

It was a good day nobody got hurt ,nobody cried. We logged about 9 hours in the saddle and put on a few miles ,saw some nice country and went through a tank and a half of chainsaw fuel. We were the first trucks into some of the areas and had to clear lots of windfalls which made it a lot easier coming back out when we met a solid gate at Shawnigan and had to go all the way back to where we started. We got to Petes pond, found a geocache, played in some snow and all in all a very good day.

Was nice to have you out and see you 42! Glad Cam figured out what was up with the front of your rig. Fix that and those potholes won't be quite as bone jarring next time. Maybe sea potato has some 40 springs?

Here's my pics:

Im most likely going to get some BDS springs from westshore spring and 4x4 and do a soa. Or some coilovers. But I can live with a bumpy ride for a bit longer. Still have a list of other things to fix/make.

If you move your spring hangers you will solve your problem. If you go BDS lift springs and SOA i think it will be way too tall. I have 4 inch BDS and sprung under and it is just about right. SOA with stock springs or 60 springs is just about right on as well. Now coilovers that would be cool.

Great day. It was nice to get out and explore a little. Good job everyone on the trail clearing. Thanks Steve for the good sandwiches!

I do have a pair of stock 42 springs you could have if you want.

but for best ride, stock 60 springs on SOA are very nice.

Lift springs with soa, just gets unnecessarily tall...unless you enjoy the sensation of having your bunghole ingest the seat cover when on slight off camber...

Sure. I can probably send em back over the hump with someone too if that's all yer after.

(In Chemainus)

If you still have 2 40 series jump seats ill also take those. If someone's volunteering to bring this stuff to Victoria I aint gunna say no.

well, Rigpig found some sceptre cans, so with them and a few jugs of drinking water, you might find some victorianite venturing further than goldstream.

Andrew- we talked about on our last run,we said if Andrew and the Fat Lady was here we would send you over the condemned bridge first and if you made it we all would. Of course there was the usual comments about your on board ice maker, latte machine and Guinness on tap beer dispenser.

You'd be surprised how often that happens. Last time it was a make-shift log bridge we made out of wood we cut out of the forest and some rope.

Sounds like it was good times.. Hope there is goin to be another run soon.. If there is i will try to make it
