I can bring my portable 4500# winch. Mounts to any receiver. Darin I'll mention here and probably again on Saturday, observing the way in which people conduct themselves on the trail has led me to be concerned with the way some bypasses are being blocked. There should be an effort to designate periodic turnouts to allow passing on the trails. I yelled at two ATV riders beginning to just ride through the woods to get past us in our trucks. They listened but were stuck behind us for quite a while as there is nowhere to properly pull aside and let them pass. Just a concern.

Daren, I can bring the F150 with the 8' bed to haul bales if you think it is needed. If not, I will just drive the Ranger, which gets better than 10 miles to the gallon.

I agree with Mike, Daniel needs some areas to move the h**ps when they break an axle or just need to get out of the way. I hope the FS considers this when working on Daniel.

Ill be there for the morning, have to split around noon to meet up with my realtor. Darin, I'll try and make it over to your place by 6, if I miss you, I'll drop the trailer there and meet you at URE;)

We had a beautiful day in the URE's! We moved some guard rail, logs and split rail fencing on RML, then picked up 2 bags of trash in the parking lot at Wolf Den(?) We had 5 ONSC members make it along with about 50 (or more) other folks. It was great finally meeting you Alex! I even got to ride the trails in his VW ;) Joanna (NCNOLES) made it down to help! Mikey, Daren, it's always a pleasure!
And they did feed us spaghetti for lunch. Here's a few pics...

Awesome day yesterday. The weather was perfect to work in the woods. Even though our group's effort was to remove guard rail and fencing put in previously I still felt accomplished. Kenny, that was dutch john parking lot where we got all that trash. We don't want to alarm the club to have them think any part of wolf den is trashed. In fact its been one of the cleaner trails I've noticed. In four days of ure visits I've participated with other onsc members to remove 5 bags of garbage since the season began. About half of the garbage is from previous seasons so our efforts r truly making an impact.
