Yeah really unfortunate it collided with the Dometic sale and we do have a few members who were on the fence, making the information much more valuable a few days ago. Like i said, i'm sure they have a lot going on and trying their best.
I will keep bumping this, as 15% is still a good discount for the VLPro. I also will edit it into the first post as i update the list.

Agreed… I was looking at getting a Dometic too since I could’ve just gone to REI and pick one up on the spot using REI’s 20% off discount over the weekend as well. Now I’m out on a road trip and just filling my igloo up with ice everyday.
Still with the Dometic 45 and the way I want to position it in my FJ Cruiser… I’d have to possibly cut the rear hatch cover to fit it and leave the handles off. I was also looking at the ARB Zero 45qt since I’ve seen one FJ with it on an ARB slider. But I can buy 3 icecoo fridges for that price.

REVIEWSALE-RFMBIN doesnt work for VL45 and the cover. only takes discount off the fridge and not the cover. i guess the combo is only for their premade combos?

Same boat here.. was set on a GO series.. Was banking on the GB and didn’t look at others. I was able to take advantage on one of the first GBs and got a VL60 and slide.. was about to be a returning customer

We can do a limited amount of manual orders, so please DM me your number so I can send LU a list of people who needs manual orders.
In additional to time-sensitive orders, I also need to send over a list of everyone who wants a TR or VL65 dual at the GB price. Those will also be manual order as TRs are not on their site (you can view specs on Walmart’s site).

Also a question for anyone with a TR60, what is the height of the fridge with the door open? I’m debating between the 45 and 60 but it looks like the lid would be pretty close to the roof of my camper when open with the taller 65.

Don’t have measurements, maybe Walmart does? I have these old pics for reference. I have donated my TR60 to another member since I took these, but hopefully it gives you enough of an idea. That’s an 08 Lx570/my baby.

@plurpimpin that is a VL45 next to a TR60 in a 200 series. Also, we have not spoke deadline but it is expected to be 7 days, starting when code goes active; that’s judging by past Gbs where we also ran a little behind.

It wasn’t their intention to cause people to miss the Dometic Sale, it was more an issue with them expecting the container to have a lot more than what actually showed up. Long story short, there is a shortage of stock which I don’t think they are lying about.
Regardless of the reason, they are trying their best to work with us. I spent a good hour on the phone with Lu last night discussing ways to meet mudders in the middle, and I shared what we came up with above.
For starters, they agreed to price match the Dometic sale after I told Lu about it, for all models (via a limited-use coupon). I didn’t even know until someone told me here, and Lu is usually more busy than I.
So until they actually bail out on the price match/20% coupon for those who missed the Dometic sale, as well as the TR/VL65 deals, then it’s too early to assume that any of this was intentional. It does seem like they are trying to make the best out of a rather unfortunate situation, if you ask me.
I think it’s best to sit back and observe for a little longer before we jump to anymore conclusions.

Did you miss my memo about sending me phone number for manual order, for members with upcoming deadlines? 1 step at a time to try and rectify this mess, and we are starting with time-sensitive cases first. I try my best to keep the updates visible, while not outright spamming everyone with them.
Is the 20% code Dometic match going to be made public or is it manual order through direct message?
I have an REI right in town and with the Extra 8 liters, Bluetooth interface app, ice making section, recent promo sale, buddy who works there, and local availability; it would have been nice to know a few days ago.

That is a coupon I will DM to members who missed a sale (namely Dometic) because of expectations for this GB. That one is limited use as it applies to everything including very low stock models, but I would double check stock if you have upcoming deadlines if going that route.
