hey guys, my dad and I are planning out summer trio and we have been thinking about Tennessee. He has a friend that wants to hike part of the Appalachian Trail and we figured this would be a good opportunity. We want to be able to drop him at a trail head and let him hike for a day or 2 and meet up with him a couple times over the trip. I know the Appalachian trail is walking only but was wondering if there were any offroad/overland trails in that area of Tennessee? rig is more than capable for pretty much anything but we are going more for camping and traveling. Any information about the area for trails/camping would be greatly appreciated!
