Need a someone to do some work on an office building. We have a tenant moving into the rent space and have to move a wall, drop some electrical lines and a few other things. Anyone have any recommendations?

Did you actually see this in person?? That's hilarious

No, sorry Cole...I wish I'd seen it...woulda liked to know who the driver was (lol)...hopefully it was a practical joke, but judging by the headlight "eyelashes" I'm not so sure...

how I feel when wife asks me to run "errands"

Didn't we talk about the show Alaska Off Road Warrior on this thread? I have finally watched the entire show on youtube at night, thanks to my wife watching nothing but The Bachelor on tv. I actually enjoyed it, but don't think it could've kept my attention if there were commercials. I have to admit that I am incredibly jealous of the adventure they got to go on. I would've gone out of my mind to be on that trip with those people for a month, but man what a view of Alaska they got to have.

Good job on the write up in "Trails", Lance!
I 2nd the motion on good job. Very nice representation for the club.
2 Atta'boys to Lance

Thanks guys!

I have a head scratcher and wanted to know if this happens to anyone else. There have been a few time I leave the lights on my fj80 and of course the battery is dead when I get back. BUT, if you let it sit for five or ten minutes, it'll start back up again. One time I left them on for three or four hours at work. The thing looked bone dead and slowly, as I waited for someone to come jump start it, little lights started to come back on and then the radio, and then the amps would raise just enough to get a few cranks and then it would fire. How is this happening, does it happen to anyone else, does it happen on other vehicles or is this the truest proof of the endurance of a land cruiser? Deep thoughts on Friday.

Michael, surfing around this morning and I run into you! Hope things are good in LR.

About the battery, it can be discharged/dead at the surface of the plates and if the battery is left alone for a few minutes some of the charge deep in the plates will distribute across the medium and you may have a little more charge available. The is why the lights start to come back and after a few minutes the deeply stored energy has spread around enough to crank the starter.

Have a good Friday and tell your folks I said hello.

Bill D.

Remember this (in a slightly different form?)
