I put down a deposit on something and I need to pick it up on Sunday, thanks Jason. Don't want to say much more since someone from FL is already trying to swoop it out from under me.

Long road trip to NJ, looking for someone to drive up with me so they could drive back down in one or the other as well as be my back-up "just in case". Regina said "NO WAY", Mikaela is in but rather reluctantly and Brianna and Rubi don't have their licenses yet.

Yes, it will suck, yes its a long drive, but what else you got to do on a Sunday after Christmas? Its 8-9 hours each way, would leave really early Sun and hope it runs as well as the current owner says it does.

Just a thought, I'd owe big time, all food, coffee, Red Bull on me as well as a 12 pack of your choice...

you have to stay out of guilford county :D

I might be of assistance there, ill pm you my number.

I'll drive around Guilford, its a law or something, right? I may keep it the original color also, just to irritate certain college football fans.

It wold help relieve some stress but if it doesn't work out, we will manage a way to pick it up for sure...

Im willing to bet Ramon would agree :D

That would be a safe bet for sure...

Might be cheaper and easier to trailer it? I might not be the best of luck. Last trip I went on with Del we barely got over the state line before disaster.

Not sure. Extra gas towing the trailer 500 miles, way worse mpg towing the 4k lb rig as compared to the cost of driving it. Tough call.

I got some shipping estimates right at $400, figured I'd spend at least $300 on gas + tolls, food, etc. Tough call right now...

Ship it much easier on you and your wallet

Ship it for sure...I made a similar trip this time last year (just South vs. North) and the traffic was horrible. I couldn't imagine how bad it would've sucked to drive the thing home vs. trailering it.

With the weather right now i would have to agree with the shipping part. I know the road trip i made to get my 45 was fun in a way, but we had 5 days to go to NE and back which was too fast.

True. Yet, weather for Sunday is supposed to be fair. Still need to hear back from the shippers on the details. Being a control freak, I'd rather have things in my own hands.

Much of it hinges on the seller's schedule also, having to be available for pickup may cause problems with the shipping issues also.

Oh well, I guess its a fairly minor thing to be whining about...

Can't co-drive with you but I'll be in Va Beach Sunday and several days after. That's about half way between.
If you get in trouble along the way call me and I'll come help. 864-325-1846.

Thanks for the offer Bill. I'll be making my decision in the morning after I talk with the seller...

So now that you have it locked down are you going to let us be privy to the information of what you are getting?
