Southern Cruiser Crawl is Oct, 11-13. Who is going? I am 99% sure I am going there. Fj40Charles says its a great venue and there are trails for everyone, mild to wild. It would be good to get a caravan up there. It's 8 hours according to google.

Man I'd love to go but I'm out for a week right at the beginning of October so my time away is pretty much tapped. BTW I heard the same and would really like to go sometime and with C's daughter living in NW Ark I think I will have a chance in the future.

I am seriously considering it, but it will depend on finances...

I'm considering it as well. I know its a ways off, but I could possibly take a half day work on Thursday and head out immediately after. Arrive Thursday night....wheel Friday & Saturday, head back Sunday morning.

Glad to hear that some people are thinking of going.

Craig, that would be my schedule I think. Still early, but I want to get there Thursday night for sure.

Is that raffle night? I've never been and would love to go, but I burned a ton of vacation already and can't really spare any with Christmas coming.

I believe the raffle is Sat. night. Great BBQ and raffle.
Friday night should be cajun food from the Bayou guys.
Thursday, you're on your own. Most likely, I'll be cooking up some tri tip and german sausage. Some people will go into town to eat seafood.

Breakfast at the Pancake House in downtown Hot springs. Great food. I'll be eating there every morning.

For those on the fence due to finances.. You have plenty of time to be eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. For David Gonzalez, that would be some corn tortillias and beans.

This is a great event. The private park is very nice and well organized and super nice people from Cottonland Cruisers.

I know ou told me Charles, but for the sake of others, can you elaborate on the family friendliness of this place?

This place is very family oriented. You won't find any drunk nekkid women running around or people drinking real late into the night and raising he!! like some parks. People are very nice there. Your kids will be safe there.

It's not finances, it's vacation time.

I understand. You already had too much time away from work this year. Must be nice to be able to take all that time off.

No wonder Dave isn't interested in going.

If I may... you also have the whole spa thing going on in Hot Springs for the wife/girlfriend if she wants some "me" time rather than going out on the trails. There is a great water park just a couple of miles from the park also if the kids would rather do that. Lots of other activities in the area such as the Mid America Science Museum (a must for the kids), race track, lots of lakes/camping, etc.

The park is roughly 1200 acres of well marked trails ranging from Sunday drive to I'm not doing that crap... The map is pretty good and the facilities are also. Y'all come!

Thanks! This will definitely help my cause. She is in, and has already started looking at places to stay. It should be a good time for all.

There are several nice hotels in Hot Springs and the cabins at the nearby KOA are really nice too. Camping is available at the ORV Park but I suspect most of the RV slots are already reserved. There is plenty of tent camping available. Knights Inn is the closest "cheap" hotel just a couple miles from the park without having to drive into town.

This is one of my "got to be there" deals.....

Big group from the DFW LSLC will be there..............Matt Stell is performing one night.......

I'll be saving my pennies for ICBM. It is usually the 3rd weekend in Oct. Butch, when do you think it will be this year?
