TOYOTA TA-13 MP3 13-PIN C-BUS 3.5MM AUX JACK: eBay Motors (item 200470832239 end time Jun-08-10 18:29:40 PDT)
Its cheap enough, looks like it would only give you a line in but I could live with that for the price. Tired of the cassette adapter. I have a 99 that I think has cd changer control because I have the 13pin connector that has been run all the way to the back and you can see where po had a changer mounted. Just wondering if I got this adapter how do I get the oem deck to read the cd changer input that this adapter would use? In other words if you had a changer paired with the stock radio how would you control it or select it from the deck.

Thanks

That would be a very smart purchase. Not only is the sound better but you also don't have to worry about hitting the volume control on the iPod and changing it on the car stereo.

Did anyone end up going this route?

I'm getting real tired of the tape adapter (which surprisingly sounds pretty good), but haven't decided on anything yet.
