Any good? Really OEM?

Thanks, :)

I've never ordered from them but there are many not so good stories about his business practices, use the search function. Check with CruiserDan on here, he is a parts manager for American Toyota in New Mexico and gives a good Mud discount

The cheap paper gaskets are not worth the savings. I got one such as this for my engine rebuild, brand was ITM as I recall. I was so disgusted with the thin, cheap, flimsy gaskets that I ended up buying individual OEM gaskets. Not a cost savings in the long run.

No. not any good, and definitely not OEM. OEM gasket sets are made by FelPro japan. The OEM head gasket has copper crush around every pushrod hole and sealant along the outside pushrod edge. The current OEM manifold gasket has been upgraded to the FelPro Graphlex style that we have been getting in the US for years now.

The punched foil manifold gasket and cheap cardboard head gasket are cheapa$$ aftermarket stuff, not worth installing, even if it is free.

Glad I asked... So it's to Cdan or Cruiser Outfitters I go... I like the C.O. Website:grinpimp:

Thanks guys, for taking the whip to that ever-present cheapness in my head! I should know better. :whoops:

BTW I just talked to Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters the other day and he said he doesn't sell head gaskets any more.
