What you call "disagreeable offer" anyone else would call absurdly overpriced by any metric.
If $800 over another reseller and $728 over MSRP is a "disagreeable offer" then clearly we value our purchases and money differently.
One observation is all I need for a seller overpricing their products.

I see your perspective, but what you experienced is a function of what economists call thin markets. When there are few buyers and few sellers, it’s difficult to predict going rates for goods and services, so what consumers often end up feeling is either “boy I got a great deal” or “man that seller is out of touch with reality”. It’s unfortunate that this thin market condition also coincides with the fact that the seller and buyer groups are also often part of a community, making grievances (like yours) particularly unsavory. It also goes without saying that because the market is thin, no seller is any less entitled to charge a higher price, because he/she can do that, given the few alternatives.

But that’s an economic evaluation of this conundrum. ;)

I can only say good things about this Business. They did in one month one a shop couldn’t do in two years.
Yeah prices for hard to find parts aren’t cheap but their service costs are very reasonable, especially if you’re use to paying in USD.
And the knowledge and work they have and do is worth even paying a bit more for parts.

For sure. Perhaps I was a bit overly harsh.
I'll give them another shot in the future.

I've had the pleasure of dealing with this shop and can only say it was a pleasure!
Stopped in on my way to Alaska just to see these guys and since I had money burning a hole in my pocket I decided to spend some!
