No not the 25th ;p

Just wondering if anyone wants to get out and run Alpha/Bravo,,, maybe one day between the 18th thru 28th...anyone who wants to go let me know. Me and my girl are taking the 80 and Velveeta Wag down.. So Velveeta is gonna try to get stuck on the rocks and we are gonna try the 80 on some lighter stuff so no worries for the dudes who dont want damage.

Christmas Run and Cruiser Sitings in St. Aug

Hey Al, let me know how this pans out - Laura and I are supposed to be heading to NC on Saturday the 17th and prolly returning on the 24th or so... Don't have all the details yet, but we were planning to stay up to her Mom's cabin in Helen NC - which is just a few hours from Tellico :D Planning to take the 40 up and run some light trails unless we can hook up with someone. We might be driving past Alpha on the way up, definitely on the way back.

We had a great trip up to St. Aug over Thanksgiving - out looking at houses with my parents and saw your Velveeta and the 80. Pretty wild. Also met Mr. and Mrs. Stevens on our way out of town - really nice couple from Clearwater in their loaded FJ62. They were also up looking at real estate and had a bunch of kool pics of their 40's, and from one of the first FLCA gatherings they had hosted at their place - pretty wild.... :D

Only downside to trip was that the swell started showing on Saturday afternoon as we were leaving town

Haha small world. That sounds like a good trip, Funny ya saw Velveeta Wag and the beater 80. Me and my girl just picked up a lifted 80 from at Alanta and we are gonna go try it out on some of the lighter stuff and it would be cool if ya want to wheel since we found two other rock gardens... it would be nice to get into some tougher spots...

2Bad,

I wish ya did live closer to get out on some rocks.... :)

Care to share the locations of those two new rock gardens?

I'm in! maybe...

The Landbruiser is available on some Friday's...the 23rd...or the 30th. Christmas Eve is my Bday, so prolly not going to be able to use the wheeling excuse with the wife.
I know counting on me is like counting on a one armed skitzo to hold your bungy cord.
whatever yall decide, i'll keep reading and watching.

Sounds cool. Count me in. Got lots to do to the 40... clutch master died (in the forest). Then found front calipers are mostly frozen, rotors toasted, flat spot on a bearing, frozen rear cylinders, impotent brake master... you'd think it was a 30 year old truck!! oh, that's right, it is.
May be driving the 80 as well.

Or more likely might be fun watching a zuk go places you toy guys only dream about going :)

I'm just kidding, it's fun to create a little bit of healthy rivalrly. I don't care whether I'm wheeling with Jeeps, Toyotas, Nissans or whatever as long as the the guys are cool. And I like this bunch of Toyota guys.

oh i know about zuks....im a zuker too, but trust me, without lockers or at least a locker, youll never follow al where he goes in velveeta, bc your rig has 31's right?, oh and youll need some gears too

You'll have to wheel CMCC with us this year.....will be a long haul up there. Zukers are more than welcome on this ride. You can follow me down if you would like.

-i should be locked, toy axles, and hopefully have some 35's by that time:bounce:

Al, what is CMCC?
Funny, I was seperating the rotor from hub earlier and it popped off while mounted on vise and the only thing to catch it from hitting the floor was my sacrificial knee and foot. That bitch is heavy and those protruding bolts are like a mace. :crybaby: Now i'm limping around trying to recover...
Looking forward to the pit. Have we figured out where the camp is? :D

I'm unlocked on 31"s right now, 5.14 t-case gears, 6" SPOA, rock sliders, shrockworks front bumper and a cage.. I don't doubt that Al can get further with his front and rear lockers though.

Oh and Al, me and two of my jeeper friends are going to be screwing around in the shores on monday at around 2:30 - 3:00 if you want to stop by.

I dont get off work til 4 so I wont be able to make it...thanks though.

CMCC is held in PA at Paragon...me and Jer are driving are 60s up there for it. Its a quick 1000 miles away...anyone else in?
