Anyone tried to remove this pin in the door handle?

My door handle has broken and I am going to try to epoxy it. I have the assembly out but can’t make out how to remove this pin. With the pin removed it seems I will have access to the handle for repair. Any thoughts?

Release the tension on the spring and it should pull out on the spring side IIRC.

End of the pin is Swaged normally, so not meant to be serviced.
Waste of time IMO.

Dorman makes replacement handles for it (all metal).

Thanks all. I realized that I didn’t need to pull the pin to access the broken handle. Once I took the pressure off the spring I was able to get a good look at it. I am not hopeful but it was worth a shot.
