Anyone running skinny tires/pizza cutters on a LC250/GX550? Got pictures?

I love the 255 width tires on my GX and am very close to pulling the trigger on a new LC or a 550 (if they ever deliver on a hybrid). Was hoping to see photos of people running at least a 33" tire in a 255. All my searching says I'm probably going to have to swap from the 18" wheels to a 17" to get a 255/80. Somebody prove me wrong

The tallest tire that exists in a 255 width for an 18" wheel is 255/70r18 that are about 32" tall. The next closest is a 265/70/18 that's about 32.5" tall and slightly wider. Otherwise if you want tall and skinny for 18" wheels you're looking at either 275/70/18 - 33" tall, or 285/75/18 that are about 35" tall. The 285/75/18 are skinnier than the numbers would intuitively suggest - tread width is only about 8.5 inches. Roughly the same tread width as a 255 or 265 in most tires.

This is pretty much every option for 18" wheels.

35x10.50r17 with +40 offset probably fit stock height without any cutting.
