I buy a reboult kit for my 2H PS pump .. and come with all o-rings and other little thinks .. loose my time, my PS have internal wear in the blades .. and loose my time.

ask yourself how long you plan on keeping your rig....if it's indefinite, replace it with a new OEM part. if you plan on selling it soon, try the rebuild...

I've had mine apart and together again a few times. I haven't used it because I rebuilt the leaky old one after I repalced it with new OEM. Taking the thing apart isn't too hard, but you need to keep track of all the slippers and springs (US model), and you need to be attentive to get the slippers back in the right orientation. Be careful with the torque spec for the bolts that hold the pump together (hosel bolts). I think the torque spec in the manual is wrong (it reads 34 ft-lbs). I broke a couple of these bolts puting it back together (which means I had to take it apart to get the broken end out and start over).

The rebuild kit I got from SOR only had gaskets and seals, and none of the hard wear parts. If your pump clearance is out of spec, I don't think the rebuild kit will help.
