Anyone put a snowplow on their FJC?

I've run a Meyer snowplow on my FJ40's for years with excellent results (it's heavy for great traction, geared perfectly and has a short turn radius). Thinking that the FJC might be a nice upgrade (even though it is wider and longer) and I hear really great things about the traction system (which would be great).

Anyone out there running a blade? Pics?

DEWFPO - Thanks for the info, but that Snow-Bear wouldn't be nearly heavy-duty enough for the plowing I do. I think Meyer makes a universal mount system, but I don't know how the FJC suspension would do with the additional weight of the brackets and the plow.....course, I'm sure the suspension is more advanced than what I have on the '76 FJ40!

If I were going to put a Meyer on the FJ I would upgrade the front springs to HD OME's to handle the weight. The same as you would if you put a HD bumper & winch on.

Buy a "beater" for plowing. I have a 1979 FORD --Rusted, "farm use" tags and held together by bailing wite and duct tape!

If you're gonna break your FJ, do it off road having fun, not plowing!

Smart man. It does tend to just kill a nice truck in two years.
