Hey guys, per the title is there anyone local to Allentown PA that would be willing to meet up so I can see if I can fit in a 70 series. At 6’5” there are quite a few Japanese cars, especially older ones, where that is a struggle. I doubt it matters if it is LHD or RHD, just looking to see if my knees and head clear before pursuing one.

Thank you!

I am not near Allentown, but I am 6'4" and @FJBen is (I believe) 6'4" or 6'5". Head room is not an issue, but your knees will be nearly to the dash and long trips can get tiresome.

You can do a seat mount mod relatively easily to gain a few inches of legroom and it makes a big difference. You can check either of our build threads for more details on the seat mod.

Do you have a link to that part of your build?

As @Rigster said I’m 6’5” plus and and daily an 88 BJ74. I ended up modifying my seat brackets for 3” more legroom. Super easy and makes a huge difference.
Thick flat stock. Match the holes
