Hi All,

I found this button today and dont know what it's for. I know what the 2nd start button is but this is a tiny button below that at the bottom of the dash below the steering wheel.

The 2nd Start button is if you want to start off in 2nd gear if under hazardous road conditions. The other one is a second set of tire pressure monitors in another set of wheels. Like for a winter set.
Hmm...I guess I never knew the TPMS feature.
I wonder if that explains a lot of TPMS warning lights. If you’ve accidentally set the button to the “2nd” position, but there isn’t a 2nd set of TPMS sensors to sense, would it throw the idiot light?
No matter, I’ve cut the wire and disabled my whole TPMS system.

Interesting. So when my new wheels/tires get here, should I maybe set that for the new ones? I was also wondering about what to do when I air down for dirt. Thought about disabling it too but trying to keep as little mods as possible.

That’s a good point. I’d imagine the little box receiver is only set to pickup which set is selected by the switch.

Yea I’m with you. I think I’m going to add a switch to turn the TPMS system on or off.
