I had some of the coating rip off in inside the passenger rear wheel well due to a stray piece of metal on the highway that bounced around in there. I’m sure there’s a variety of things I could use, but I’d like to use the same protective coating or close to what Toyota uses. Anyone have any ideas?
There are better epoxy coatings like Raptor Liner that are available in a 2 part rattle can. They are much tougher than the original material used in there and you can easily source them. You can also build them up to provide a thick and "padded" layer like the OE coating. I would just clean up the damage back to where you have a good seal from the OE coating and apply the Raptor or other coating.
The raptor rattle cans are relatively expensive so I would plan out a few other items you want to coat while you are at it to take advantage of the whole can.
