Working on replacing my old OME with a new King damper, but I have no idea how these lovely nipple shaped spacers are supposed to attach? Can anyone throw a brother a bone with some pics?

Found this on an older thread... hope that helps a little. No direct experience.

Looks like @Qball has/had one. Perhaps he will chime in for you.

Looks to me like the lovely nipple shaped spacers are tapered, so they should plug in where the factory-type tapered stud goes.

Sorry buddy, yesterday was a mess. Got construction crew getting the back yard worked on.

Here is picture if my damper:

I remembered it being very straight forward and bolt right up. The tubes are spacers.

In hopes someone else with a King stabilizer will see this, has anyone bent a steering stabilizer? I noticed it dripping fluid and found the shaft bent, causing damage to the seal and the leak. I can’t see how it bent, there is no visible damage to the unit. I put a cheap stabilizer on it for now, on the king tapered spacers. The cheap one doesn’t articulate at all, like the king does. I have a lift and 37’s, debating spending another $250 for a king or just use a more basic stabilizer.

I assume the mounting points were tight?

Did yours come with the hardware?
I seem to remember having to buy the hardware separately but this was a couple years ago.

Bumping this thread - y'all happy with the King damper longer term? Debating this versus jumping up to the Dobs adjustable monotube.

Ever figure out why the damage to the shaft @TXLX100 ?
