I checked it out in person when it was up for sale. I know the seller who put it on BaT. He found it somewhere in AL, but I don’t know any history of the truck.

I did buy it. I did not win the auction though. Crazy story. I had another fj62 and an engine and trans picked out to build when I stumbled across the exact truck I was gonna build. I’ve done quite a bit to it already. Just would love to find the guy who built it an pick his brain. Oh well.

I'm the guilty party that built this. It was a fun and challenging project. I only sold it because my interests have changed and I hardly ever used it any more, It was a blast to drive and I used to get all kinds of looks and thumbs up gestures from other drivers.
