Anyone installed J200 Facelift 2 on J200

Just curious has anyone installed the Facelift 2 grill and head lamps on their J200 or J200 Facelift models. I am undecided on what J200 to purchase but like the price of the J200 over the Facelift 2, but like the grill and lights on the Facelift 2 model.

Since I haven’t heard them described this way before I’m assuming facelift 1 is 13-15 and facelift 2 is 16+?

Ive seen videos from overseas where they do every swap you can imagine. Specially the LX 16 fascia conversion seems to be popular.

Im sure its been done, but dont know what it takes.
I will say there will be electrical considerations due to headlights etc, and not sure what happens with radar, if that comes as an assembly, its probably pricey.

i know several vendor partners on ;mud have done it - Ben at Dissent did a 2016+ facelift swap on his 200 after a deer strike. I recall Carl Montoya from Nitro doing something on a 200 too...

i would start by researching those guys build threads and go from there. I suspect it's not trivial as other have mentioned

If you talking about going from the 13-15 to 16+, to do it right, you're looking at quite an expensive project. The new hood, new hatch (I believe the tailgate is the same), and paint work alone and you're looking a several thousand dollars, I would imagine.

I did it. I went from 2009 to 2016+ exterior and interior. It’s a lot of work but nearly everything is plug and play.

Right now finishing the interior with:

- new console
- android radio
- 360 camera
- new heated steering wheel
- new ventilated and heated seats
- ambient lightening
- automatic tailgate

I imported the complete kit from China and installed here in Spain. I use to import a lot of automotive car parts by myself.

Thinking on open a threat for the complete build.
