I'm looking at installing a front hitch on my '00 LX. On the LX570 forum, I read that CURT front hitch receivers made for Tundra's fit the LX570 without mod's. They just bolt on the towing hooks.

Did anyone try one of those hitches? Is there any front hitch receiver that fits, or can be made to fit with minimal changes?

Thanks!

Looking to do the same. I have and Ironman on the front and would like to put a hitch haul on the front when I pull the flats boat trailer.

There's plenty of bolt holes you could pick up, like the ones for the factory tow hooks. I bet you could find a used hitch that's about the width and have a metal shop fab up new brackets that fit the LC holes. It wouldn't be anything I'd use for super heavy loads, but may help you if you can't back a trailer.

I bought a Reese hitch for my last truck and modified it to ride higher so it was inline with the frame. Wired a quick connect 0 gauge winch hookup front and rear. Just welded a couple of heavy bracket with holes on the frame, and plates to match on each side of the hitch. Worked great. Now that I have the winch mounted in the front Slee, I hope I never need to pull myself out backwards! Anyways, if done right the front hitch can be just as strong as the rear. I still have the winch cradle if you find the need.
