The SS86HF Snorkel is discontinued and the newer version, the SS86HP clearly states its for the 100 series with the round, not rectangular air box (i.e. non-US). but I'm thinking it can and has been done. Before the "buy the $100 eBay one" comments, it's in consideration, but I like a challenge and if it'll help the Mud community I'm in.

could I source a round air box? or just McGuyver something into the rectangular one?

what has been done?

thanks for any thoughts or advice.

Haven't seen one of the ARMAX snorkels on a US 100 yet (maybe because of the airbox issue). I would guess you could order the round airbox form a non-US parts supplier like partssouq, but also would guess you need more than just the airbox, might need the connection to the throttle body, etc.

Unfortunately you can't buy all the parts new anymore (I've tried Amayama, partsouq, etc etc)

You need the cyclical air filter, the intake tube (which is a completely different part to the US one) the vacuum tubes, and a new 🚂 me cover, although you could bodge a standard one of you had to.

The other way is to buy a Psico air intake an intake upgrade as they assures me the airmx will bolt straight up.

I can't see a way of adapting the diesel cylinder filter cost effectively.

Cruiser outfitters mentioned that on theSS86HP they sell they will include the an in-house hose kit designed to solve the air-cleaner interface issue.
