at a 100 for me? I need a pro opinion as the local specialist can not look at the vehicle until mid next week and I can not wait that long. Id offer compensation for your time. Ive got a deposit on what looks to be a very nice example of a lx470.

Thanks and let me know.

Gary

Ive now at least been able to get something lined up the dealer Monday morning. This a younger seller so Not trying to send them so far out of their way to “please” me. This seller also happens to be out of town at the moment and won’t be back until Sunday. Working through the hoops.
Thanks

Just sent you a PM. I'm in Charleston.

Thank you all, I have decided to pass on this not because of condition but because ahc had been removed and it was not the right option for me.

Thank you to all who have reached out. I kinda sent this to the last person privately.

To wrap, in I longer need this service at this time for this vehicle.

Lex-Tech. No question. Richard and Gary know there stuff. (843) 225-5191
So ive got a great local guy that I've been going to and he isnt 100% comfortable with the AHC components so i called LEXTEC wanting to change the AHC fluid and he said thats never supposed to be done... I had him repeat that statement and he insisted it never has to be ever. So im not so sure how I feel about them anymore.

It's not hard to do on your own. I'm mechanically inept but I've done it twice. Props to PADDO's AHC fluid replacement method!

most dealers will tell you the same The AHC flush wasn’t even in the scheduled maintenance prior to the ‘03 model year of my memory serves. Most ppl diy it. I wouldn’t let that scare you from lextech. At all.

True, there's a local mechanic named Brad Baker that specializes in Toyota and lexus and he's my go-to man if anyone else ever needs a recommendation. Whenever my AHC finally craps out I will take it to him ahah
