Anyone in or near Sterling, CO? I need an 80 Inspected

Hey all,

Long time 60 owner here, and I'm looking to replace one of the Volvos (after 580,000 miles) with a newer vehicle, and the wife is letting me get an 80!

Anyway, I found one on EBay, I know the paint is bad, but I don't care.

Would anyone in or near Sterling CO be willing to go and take a look for me to make sure nothing but the paint is bad and to give me a general bill of health? (EX: Do you think I could drive it from there to here; 100 miles from Chicago)

I would be cautious with them. My wife grew up in sterling and said they haven't had a very good reputation. The other thing is that this is not the FZJ-80's...

IMO wait and find an FZJ-80...way more power, ABS, air bags, factory lockers, leather...the price is coming down on these.

Thanks for the advice. I really don't want leather or airbags, remember I'm a 60 Driver so I love simplicity and utility.
