BMan, did this thread really start 3 years ago? I noticed the dates...If so, I see you been "putting off" this selling thing...

I dont blame you - nice rig!

yep... love the truck but don't use it and I'd rather put some money into other stuff right now that's more important to me at this time in my adventure.

Still available...

Will consider partial trades for cash and firearms or alot of firearms and no cash.

I might know someone who'd be interested.

Carb or Fuel Inj?

Carb'd holley 670 Street eliminator.

Bump for offers! If you're remotely interested let me know. She's going on CL in the next couple days.

B-Man & everyone else is right!
The economic down time will last two to four years. A Land Cruiser is forever! It is a family legacy. It will outlast the down time. The FJ is forever.....
Sell the econo-box, or any other other car. Tighten your belt in every way, but do not ever give up your LC!
In the event of the loss of decent society, you can use the truck to escape. Short of that, it is a forever truck that can be passed down again and again. FJ's never die....
I grew up in a green FJ40. Now I drive a green FJ80. Green is not my favorite color. Green is what I got! I'm OK with it!
But my truck looks pretty good for a rolled-over wreck! I am one of the few people in the club who has transmission fluid stains on the headliner! My truck has spent some time in the inverted position. The roof structure had a bad day. The truck was rolled when I bought it. I repaired it with all Toyota metal. I will let go of almost everything before I let my truck go! In an uncertain world, there are two things that I can trust. I can trust my wife and my truck! Everything else can go to hell!
The handbasket is coming, get your seat!

Thanks for the bump Brian, but I'm not selling the truck for economic reasons. I don't use it and rather than let it waste away in my yard and get further and further from a driveable rig the longer it sits, I'd rather let her go to someone who will use her and appreciate her. My priorities in life are changing and having 6 vehicles is not high on my priority list any longer. Yep, the economy is s***. Yep the world is coming to an end. Yep, I loved my 40 for a long time. Yep, I'll likely look back at this truck as one I shoulda kept. Yep, she's still for sale and will be going on the main board and Craigslist in the coming days. Yep, the LV and likely the 60 will be following, along with the 67VW, the Tacoma (again) and a whole pile of other clutter that I no longer need in my life. Yep...

Wouldn't want to trade it for a freezer and a boat would you?;):D
(I kid, I kid).
I've got 2 trucks and the boat I need to move out, not too optimistic on getting any bites either..
I tried my darndest to find a good local home for it Brandon, nobody I know has any expendable cash right now..Best of luck.
John

Wait! The 40, the LV and the 60 as well as the Taco and the 67 bug! WTF That leaves you with a Sequoia and a bicycle.
I thought you loved the 60 and that was the one you were keeping. ??

No worries, he's got a skateboard too:flipoff2:

Actually the Sequoia is gone in June, lease is up. Getting something new for Melissa, a luxury sedan of one form or another. And if everything else sells I might buy something like an 80 or 100. As much as I hate to admit it, I've been dreaming of a new bodystyle 4door Tacoma with a flatbed/ute conversion. While the 60 is great, the build just isn't quite what I wanted and the novelty is wearing off for me. I just ain't got it in me to finish it completely. I'll likely regret that decision in the end also but life is way to short to worry about what's in the past. I'll get it all figured out eventually. You know me, I'm the quintesential procrastinator anyway. I might actually sell something by the time Luke's old enogh to drive it himself.
