My Lab gave me a hicky last night.....

Try explaining that to the wife:eek:

both of my labs nibble when you scratch their backs

Just grab their tongue and hold it for a few seconds. Do that a few times and they pretty much stop.

They nibble, you can't grab their tongues.

I have a cat that sucks her own nipples when you pet her.....I'm serious, I gotta take pics some day......
The visual is enough, I dont think pics are nessesary...

Knee to the chest, same as jumping.
I will admit, they learn pretty quick that way...

Really I dont mind the nibble, just didn't think I deserved "THE LOOK"

Shep (black lab) will nibble on my hand like he's eating corn on the cobb. I've never been interested in getting him to stop ... just one of those things that makes him cute.

I laugh at mine too. :D

We call it "flea biting" around here. Labs are well known for it (quick, short, repeated) bites that don't really expose the teeth. All of my Labs have done it when you scratch them, or rub their shoulders or neck. It seems to be a way of reciprocating the affection shown them.

Man......I miss my Lab!

Vizslas and Weimaraners are "mouthy", they like to kind of chew on your hand...but I wouldn't call it nibbling.

My Cairn licks, but nips / bites when he's playing chase around the yard.

He is a feisty SOB....
