Anyone familiar with Bengal domestic cats?

I've unknowingly adopted a cute kitten in Western Afghanistan, known as a Felis Silvestris Caudata, or a "Turkeman Wild Cat"

He's getting pretty big. I'll let you know if he eats my leg or arm. He's a mite "sporty" if you will.

I made a mistake the other day; I "ran" away from him. His reaction was pure instinct, but he launched himself at the back of my calf and latched on with gusto. He settled down once I swatted him, but I hope it isn't the shape of things to come.

From what I've read Bengals are supposed to be hypo allergenic?

Maybe for some people. They have a pelt, rather than fur. My sister has one of these cats. It's very high strung and aggressive with other animals, won't tolerate any other cats around. Actually, it's aggressive with humans too. They're especially muscular and athletic, even for cats. If you're in to watching how high they can jump or how fast they can tear something up that's cool, otherwise I really wouldn't recommend one.
