Anyone ever pay for Birfields? (1 Viewer)

Depending on where you are, there may be some people that could help you and/or need to do theirs as well like me 
I have had the parts ready for longer then I care to mention and have been working WAY too much to tackle this, but things are starting to slow down so this will be a late spring project for me, with or without assistance.
There is a wealth of knowledge here, parts lists, tool lists, how-to's, how not-to's
fluids needed, and I think there is a Birf DVD too. In any case, do a search and sit back with a few #6's because you have some reading to do.

A correctly done front axle job, completed by a professional who knows what he is doing, will run around 1,200 to 1,400 dollars parts and labor.

I paid my local trusted mechanic to do mine, only paid $200 + $250ish for the service + parts from CDan, but that was because the price was pre-agreed based on how long he thought it was take after watching the DVD. I stopped by several times during the day to make sure all was well, and it was. Any competant mechanic when given the DVD can do a great job on this, but be prepared for whatever he charges per hour times 6+ hours.
Robbie did mine for around $1200; for two LC's.

The reason asking is that I'm scheduled to have mine, along with other maintenance job, done later this week at the local Toyota dealership, just want to make sure that they are not going to be any parts short.
