No, but they are all priced like they are made out of gold and bald eagle skulls right now...

Agree! Tundra's are cheaper. Which I love mine still.

I am thinking of a Tacoma and see no real advantage of buying used. Nolen, Is this for the Nephew? I have a red 62 that would be perfect for him.

There's not right now. I bought a 2012 after attempting to deal with the ridiculousness of a used one... Swore I'd never buy a new vehicle, never say never I guess. I was looking at a used 2010 with 27k miles and wound up getting a 2012 with the same trim package and 4 miles on it for $300 more. True story.

Like Shunt and Nolen said, the value is in the Tundras right now.. I just couldn't fit one of those yachts in my garage without getting rid of my shelving or moving the :princess:'s car outside... and that was a no-go.

Yeah, he would do great in that truck

Damn sure not for me....I don't even have enough money to pursue the $2000 FJ40 Price posted up.

He can't go very fast in it. It will break his gas budget, so he'll mooch off of other friends for rides. When he totals it his dad will only be out a few grand. And I get rid of it. It is a win win for everybody, except the 62.

I'm a proud owner of one of those over-priced Tacomas :)

2004 Extra Cab w/ 6cyl, 5 speed, TRD package, 4WD and ~85K miles. Can't decide if I should sell and buy something with a V8 or drive it 'til the wheels pass me on the interstate...

There is one like that in Laurel for $17,000

Seems crazy but they are great trucks.

$17K seems a little ridiculous to me. Must be a 4 door, low-mileage, with gold in the glove compartment at a dealer. Mine spec'd on KBB to about $14K private sale. These things hold their value very well.

My son is looking for an extended cab 4WD Taco. He's in Canada and hadn't planned on buying until he's in the states this Summer, but if the deal is right.... Do you have a link for that truck? $17K sounds high to me.

I found a 2004 4WD extended cab Taco on a lot in Laurel, priced at $17.5K. Checked Blue Book and retail for that truck in excellent condition is around $14.5K. Are Tacos really selling at that much of a premium?

Nope, not at Kim's. It's at Carter Motors on 16th. I think my Uncle went to HS with the owner. Doesn't matter where it's located, it's way overpriced.

Agree its way over priced. I know Edwin. Has some good cars.
