Anyone change just the starter contacts (no plunger)?

I took out the airbox and climbed inside the engine bay. It made things much easier. A pillow for my knee would have been a good idea however I was so nasty dirty that wife would not let me in the house.

Yeah, haven't disconnected the injector tabs yet. Do you just squeeze on the side and pull? I really don't want to cause damage when I'm really just doing the work proactively! About how much was a PCV valve ?

Your asking the wrong guy! I broke a few of the tabs

Not sure what I did wrong?

And the PCV valve is only a couple bucks. It just pulls out and plugs right in. Mine was real dirty, but I'm not sure if it matters or not.

I also climbed into the engine bay, put 2-3 towels folded up on the engine so I could kneel on it, that worked very well, although while up in the engine bay it's a bit tight for a big guy such as myself, I managed to only semi-fall out of it once (was falling but got my feet down just in time)..

I agree it looks worse than it is...and yes the magnetic bolt grabber thing is awesome in there!
