wondering whether it might be worth it to have one of these airbrush touchups mobile guys come and spray my roof mount areas...

anybody used one of these gusy? opinions?

I'll call and find out what exactly they do, prime/no prime, sand / no sand etc, but things to watch out for or ask about?

thx

There's an art to blending the spray into the existing paint. To do it properly, prep is 90% of it and then there is the need to do very good wet-sanding after it's dry.

also, how do they match the color of your paint? Your paint is not the factory color anymore so ask them how they match the color.

If they are a mobile operation, I would think some sanding/masking- primer-paint and blend with the spray as best they can. If it's clearcoated, they can spray a bit more clear and you can wet sand it smooth(er) after it drys...

I guess it depends on how perfect you want it.

e , like all in life there is good ones and bad ones---------we use them daily for minor dent removal and bumper refinising,,, the one i use is good his blends are hard to see ,,,,,,but i also see the attempts of all the other LA local guys ( some of them should be shot ),,,,,,,, if you can git some references of other satisfied clients ,or if they frequent a dealer go look at the used car lot for their handi work,,,,,,,,,,

There's a franchise out here on the west coast called DentPro that does pretty good work. They work the local dealerships, and my neighbor had some dents pulled out of his pickup... all pretty impressive for minor repairs. If they don't think they can do a decent job of it, they say so up front. Pretty reasonable $$$ as well (compared to body shops...)
