Wow! I hope he's ok. Anyone finds out let us know.

Marion and I talked to Ali last night. He is doing good and should be released tomorrow.

Steve had his appendix removed.

I'm honestly surprised he is not on his iphone on mud at the hospital :flipoff2:

Steve, I see you're online...what's up. You didn't try to replace the pig's windshield by yourself did you? JK Hope you're well!

Appendix was three times larger than it should be. Was sick as a dog - worst sustained pain ever. Had surgery around 1am this morning. Just starting to feel somewhat like a human again. Thanks to everyone, especially David, John and Jay who helped out with a few phone calls.

Glad you're ok!

Same thing happened to a Scouting friend about three weeks ago. His was about this far from bursting. Sick as a D.O.G. Be well brother!

Thanks guys. Yeah, not a fun experience. Mine didn't burst thankfully. The surgeon thought he was gonna have to slice me open but was able to scope it. You know it is bad when the Dr says "that's not normal." but when was I? What really blows is I've been busting my butt to have the Pig at GSMTR with a brand new sleeping platform, windshield and headliner and that's out of the question now.

What's out of the question? GSMTR or the work on the pig? Hopefully not the former...

Work on the Pig definitely and prob GSMTR too. You should have seen the look on the Drs face when I said "So Doc, what are the chances of in a week medriving 5 hours then off roaring for a week?" I believe her answer was 'slim to none.' Maybe something will happen the very end of the week but I dunno. Right now I'm up waiting for the dang Loritab to kick in. Morphene works better.

Tip: avoid jokes
:grinpimp:

DANG Steve! Hope they didn't make your innie an outie during the procedure ;) Cat had her gall bladder removed the same way and she rebounded from surgery pretty quickly, but not nearly as painful as an ballooned appendix I imagine.

Steve, James at the upholstery shop said that was ok to reschedule, just give him 5 days advance or so, glass doctor people didn't seem to care either way. Hope ya get to feeling better, i'll be around the week of GSMTR if you need something to do! I never lift more than 10# anyone who has worked with me will attest to this....
