Anybody running a road GPS with free traffic info? Ads obtrusive? How to delete?

About to pull the trigger on a road GPS, very likely from Costco and very likely a Garmin. Both of the ones they have have the free lifetime traffic info feature. What they fail to advertise widely, of course, if the fact that, IIUC, it comes with ads.

Anybody that has one of these or similar could comment on how obtrusive these ads are? How often do they pop up and how do you close them when they show up? (I believe you can deactivate the feature altogether, thankfully.)

OK, well, since nobody knows or cares, I tried it out.

Answer: the ads I got were very infrequent , not at all obtrusive and easy to get rid of. Could not tell if the traffic function worked OK or not in SFrisco. Only got Green and little traffic delays so could not tell.

all right!
not that anybody cares, obviously, but we used the free traffic info system in LA today and we were able to avoid some gnarly jams thanks to the gizmo. And only one puny ad the whole day.l
