Anybody have a hookup with cheap powdercoating?

What's up guys,

Does anyone know a good cheap powdercoating source in the Chicagoland area within 2 hours?

I have a source that I use but right now I am looking to refinish some OEM 98-02 16" LC wheels and not looking to spend an arm and a leg. The place I use would end up charging a good amount more than I paid for these wheels ($500+ to powdercoat 4 wheels). Looking for good work but don't care if it's a 10/10 job as they are not show wheels.

Shouldn't need any curb rash repair or any kind of repair for that matter. Would just need to chemically strip the OEM silver paint, media blast, and re-coat with silver and gloss clear.

Wow small world..... I know that shop. My business partner had a detailing shop right next door for a few years in that same building.

CPC? Personal experience. DAVE STEG, owner, lost a full suspension for a WRX STI, as well as under armour plates for my 80, on the same order. After being confronted still did not offer any compensation, your S.0.L. (That's the second try at a cost of over $2,300) First time around; four rims for a Honda missed promised delivery date by 6 weeks. Yes he's inexpensive, no business sense or ethics. FTG just my .02.

He also doesn’t prep. My armor started rusting in less than a year. Personal experience. I also asked him to do some bolt heads, they decided to heavy coat the threads as well.
