We'll start in Camden SC and run to Kershaw to the KHOP via the forestry roads.
This is a 60 mile run with an average speed of 20 MPH over a mix of pavment, red clay and sand roads.
No creek crossings on this route.
I suggest either May 11th or 18th

Start here with meet up at 9:30. 34.276082, -80.610656

I directed everyone here on the original post. I've posted another reminder @everyone with the link to this discussion. I'll keep tabs on it.

The masses have spoken.
Looks like its the 18th.

To be sure I have the correct info to put out:

18MAY
0930
Start in Camden. Convoy to Kershaw House of Pizza.

Are those coordinates pointing to the Camden Roses parking lot?

Should be fun!

This is the route we'll take, for any that are interested in where we're going before we get there.
Its the RED trail, not the Purple one. That's for another day, or if ya'll are glutuons for punishment it can be the return route. That would be a long day.

Thanks. I'll put that out.

Completed a pre-run yesterday and had to adjust the route slightly.
Found three gates and cleared a downed tree. DeWalt 20V for the win.

Current trail report:
Off pavment we'll see a mix of deep, loose, dry sand and wet red clay and some large fist size gravel for extreams. One 200 yard strech of mud holes and ruts. The Bean had zero issues, but if you've got low hanging plastic bits (Stock GX460) you'll be sweating.

Looking forward to seeing everybody tomorrow. The rain will keep the dust down and firm up the sand.
There will be mud, lots of ooy gooy red clay. Expect some pretty good ruts, but nothing to crazy.

Just got to the lake a little while ago. The house was 5*F over where the thermostat was set (and it wasn't running), and the humidity was 74%. Power was out sometime recently, too. Not sure when or how long since we didn't get any alerts from Duke. AC doesn't seem to be blowing as hard or cool as it usually does, but I hope that's just my perception due to the humidity. If I wake up relatively dry and cool then I'll see you guys in the morning. If I don't then I'll be spending my day troubleshooting HVAC.
