Hi Everyone, 2013 LX570 here. Long story short, I hit a boulder and had to replace the steering rack, knuckle, clock spring and had VGRS codes. Everything is fixed except for code C15A5 (VGRS Actuator). Based on other threads and FSM, I knew I broke the ribbon cable inside the actuator. I soldered everything back, had continuity in all 9 wires and so ideally, everything should work, but it's still not erasing this code with tech stream, and, until this code is gone, I cannot do a zero point calibration. I do not want to buy a new one for obvious reasons, so I have a few questions...
1. Does anyone fix or refurbish these that I could mail it in?
2. The FSM basically says to replace it, any bench tests I could do?
3. The ribbon cable has separate continuity, but when connected to the actuator, there is shared continuity across pins, 2/4, 5/6, and all 3 power leads. Is this normal or signs of something else?
4. Any other thoughts or things I'm not thinking of? I would like to keep this truck for a long time so I want it to work properly. Thank you in advance!

Kudos to you for advanced troubleshooting.

How big of a ‘boulder’ and how fast were you going>?

OK like mini boulder/very large rock 3ft tall, tall enough to fit just under the front bumper on high and hit it with my left side tire. I was only going like 5 miles an hour on some BLM land and the sad thing is I was about 40 feet from the gate.

Sorry for the bump but man I am stuck.... @PADDO sorry for the mention but is this in your wheel house?
