Hey Guys im making this post because unfortunately I had sent my truck to another state 5 years ago for a motor swap. long story short and 6k deposit later + Shipping ther and back I now have the truck back finally with no work done besides dissembling it slightly. I am a little annoyed and just truly drained from this long journey that went nowhere. reason for the swap was the oem motor had 300k miles on it so it was pretty beaten, trans was pretty limp ect.

I was just now thinking maybe I should do I ls swap since the original plans of the flat 6 with the turbo is now out the window. Or maybe the flat 6 and look for a super charger I just know the flat 6 here in last vegas doesn't have the power for the altitude changes when I go up to the mountains and try climbing them. this is truly based off the motor that was in thir previously. so that being said id like to put this project to rest and just pay a TRUSTED TOYOTA SHOP that has worked on these vehicles before to get this project done in a correct time frame.

PLease Help lol

Any advice would help and be appreciated

OPTIONS
stock 4.7 flat 6 with a supercharger
Ls motor Not sure what kind
4.6 v8 Motor in the gx models

Ideal situation - is what do you guys think would be the easiest and cost effective ( Cheaper route but Easiest Cheaper route) Meaning what is worth the money Considering I blew 9k including shipping on the last attempt

What year 80 series? When you say stock 4.7 do you mean 4.5 1fzfe? That’s what came in 93-97 80 series in the US. There is a turbo option now out of Colorado that’s has a very nice kit for the stock engine. @Cruisers and Co. Looks like
Magnason will be releasing super charger kits in September/october for the stock engine. A LS swap will not be cheep and will be limiting you to selling in the future due to smog/DEQ regulations.
