Got this wild hair and decided to pull this out of the bucket. I'm gonna drive a 40 to Moab. Anybody else going this year?

Moab

I have been thinking about it myself. This could be the year! I my try to make it a mountain bike trip as well. Let be look into it. I will keep you updated Don. Sounds like I need to cross it off my bucket list to.

I thought I wanted to go,untill I learned that it's almost a thousand miles away; still thinking at this point...two travel days each way,or straight through with a case of red bull?:hhmm:...also, it's two days after mud-n-yer-eye,kind of a one or the other deal for me.

ever had a bucket list? s*** you'ld like to do in this life? since the early 80's I've wanted to drive to Mexico topless in my lancruiser (it's kinda like a harley thing except I'm not normal). Well...thirty years later and three years into retirement...less and less chance that's gonna happen!
So a week or so ago my good buddy Mike Kulser from Visaila offers me a seat to Moab in his 79 mini truck CHEAP! Humph...I'll think about it. Well I did... and who in the hell wants to go to a party on the back of a harley. I wanna drive my own junk out there!
At this point I was planning on the southerly route, cruising out with Mike and the cvcrawlers on Sun the 29th.
Jerod, hope you're having a ball and I'll see you in Moab.

Ya I know Roger...but watch me :steer: I won't be topless but I will be in my 40.
You loose a little of the Landcruiser lifestyle when your dragging it around on a trailer :grinpimp:

The Cruiser Gods have been with me for many years...gutsey, crazy,sacks...certainly not normal. What route do you guys take from Medford?

The drive can be made in one day, via 80 or 50, but it's a long day. I've done it, but I wouldn't recommend it. Your mileage will go way down over 75mph.

After 4 years in a row, I'm skipping this year. Get out early, run as many trails as you can.
