Arizona Backcountry Discovery Route (AZBDR)

Looks to be an easy route and suitable for bigger GS motos.

Looking due to weather of doing the lower section soon and the upper section once it warms up and snow is gone from the high country.

Looks cool as hell, wish my moto was running.

Dang that looks awesome. Maybe in another year when I'm ready to get back on two wheels and buy my BMW. Or maybe KTM. Decisions Decisions....:meh:

Im on an older BMW Dakar what will you guys be riding?

Looking at the track not a lot of technical riding and a fair amount of secondary highway. The lower start has a couple passes at 5000'+ . Can anyone familiar with the passes comment on if they are subject to snow?

hey @LandCruiserPhil. I'm down in Sierra Vista. You shouldn't have really any issue with snow on the lower half. It's a great ride. Let me know when you are headed down to do that portion. Will try and join you. I'm on a GSA 1200.
