Beautiful day for a ride in the hills. Thanks guys. Tony might have been onto something as far as spending a little more time on Bob's red clay hill climb. Unless you happen to h8mud:D

Anyone in the mood for a quad day trip on Elk Mt. trails, let me know. That can be fun too.

Looks like I got to bring home the most mud. Had red , gray and black mud all on the
same trip can't beat that. Had good time as always.
Don was driveing some strange rig that you don't see to offen. Not sure what they call them.
Some type of Toyota I think.

Just as a follow-up to our conversation regarding bear hunting...the season runs through the last Sunday in December, or until 1700 bears have been harvested. This year, the season ended Dec 8 because the limit of 1700 bears had been reached for the first time since 2001. Anyone hunting bear now is a poacher.

Had a good time. Wound up spending 2 + hours getting all of the mud and clay off. Hannah thought Tony and I were "crazy" for the way we were sliding through the mud.

Good times guys! Thanks for the day

Hey Ross, Hannah was a pleasure to have around. She's a pistol, no doubt about it. She had my brother and me cracking up.

yes, Hannah is a kick. I hope Ross had her help washing the truck...

Don, lets move your quad ride up to a formal thread and you should pick some dates. Cindy and I want to go but scheduling might be an issue. You might simply have to pick and date and say you're either there or not. :)

also, kudos the FJ A-trak... don't know what it is but it appears to have been working. Ross made everything look easy.

Isn't that why you buy those rigs today? They make everything look easy. I know back in the 70's I remember reading the 40 series being the best off the showroom rig you could buy. Toyota's still the way to go as far as I'm concerned.
Those Heep Rubicons seem to do real well on the con off the shelf (with rookie drivers)but I've not seen them hold up for 30 years like the one I started with.

Let's talk at the meeting next week on coming up with a weekend for a Quad run.

And Roger...no way were changing the logo of the club:D
