So my PMC friends, any interest in getting together for some OHV stuff on Saturday, 12/27? This is the weekend between xmas and new years. Was thinking about meeting in Hopland for breakfast at 8 AM, then running the Bartlett Springs Loop (where we enter at near Nice, and exit on M1 or M10, in Upper Lake).

Not much wheeling but a nice day trip cruising thru the national forest. Other thoughts of Cow Mtn or pillsbury crossed my mind, but we'll be there in February already. also thought about a day of target shooting at the public range near cow but thought we might want to drive more than just shoot.

So If I can get interest from at least two other members, we'll make it official and call it a run.

Saturday, 12/27, Bartlett Springs loop. Meet 8 AM at Blue Bird in Hopland, have breakfast, head to Hwy 20 and Nice, run the loop past Bear creek campground, cross the river and exit M1 or M10, cant remember.

Wish I could Tony. I gotta be in Santa Rosa that day for the in-laws Christmas. There's snow on Bartlett and more on Elk so could be fun. I was thinking of throwing something out for the following weekend, the third. I'm gettin cabin fever pretty bad. If no interest in Cruisin', I'll be hitting Elk Mt on quad that sat(3rd). Weather permitting of course, as they close the MC trails if it has been too wet.

I'm still in for a sat the 3rd run of some kind. I'd like to know in the next day or two before I start making other plans.
 
well new years if my only day with my sweetie, so I'll probably stay close to home. plus we hit Pillsbury on Feb 7th.

Saturday is best for me, but hoping we can get a few trucks to go...

anyone... bueller?
 
the bartlett loop around to upper lake is all forest service roads, and very FJ friendly. We will cross bear creek at the very last section, which might be running swift due to rains, but I have crossed in red truck before with no issue.

That would be great Ross. There you go Don, 3 trucks. your Sat is busy.
 
ya, their breakfast's have been less than stellar last time we were there... but they were good before that, and poor before that and good before that... etc. Always a plate full.

That will put us at the bartlett turn probably around 10:30 Don. Does that work?
 
That sounds great. My internet connection is down so had to drive in to my folks in L-port tonight to check on this. Good to hear there is some interest. I'll be at the bottom of the hill at 10. Any changes and you might have to call me at 274-2214. Doubt ATT will have me up tomorrow (supposed to have it fixed today) but I'll check back in on Fri. for sure.
