Any HAMOM in the future, if not, I have a request...

I assume you got diff fluid, but you didn't specifically mention it. As far as the moly you only need 2-3 tubs/tubes for the birfs only. The knuckle bearings and wheel bearings all use wheel bearing grease. Mobil1 is good but I've also used Valvoline (import type).

I would assume the wheel bearings from Autozone will be Timken which are fine.

You will probably want 2 drain pans to catch diff fluid and grease. I can bring one if you need it.

I have one drain pan so if you can bring another, that would be great.

I did miss the diff fluid, how did I miss that in the threads. I guess I better go back and re-read them. But, in any event, I'll pick up some diff fluid on the way home tonight. Thanks for catching that...

Sorry I didn't get to make it (not that I would have been any help). I forgot it was parent's weekend for Sigma Chi and my parents are down here. Hope to catch you guys sometime soon.

No sweat, we had plenty of hands to get thing done. Hope the parents are having a good time at "the house"...

Sorry I didn't bring any paint, wound up going to watch my Pack pretty early and couldn't make it...sorry Jerry, but it sounds like things went pretty well. I talked to greg and he mentioned the later birfs wouldn't fit, you have to clearance the axle tube ~1/16" w/ a grinder to run the those on the pre-79 axles.

PS - One of my friends was telling me today about meeting a father/daughter in a 40 and FJC, and I was like, yep, I know who that is! He was impressed, as we all are. Father of the year!!

Sorry I couldn't make it either guys. We had to take one of our cats to the vet and she's not doing too well. The wife isn't taking it too well since she's had the cat for 11 years. Hope everything went well and everybody had a good time.

Sorry to hear that, never fun when a pet gets sick. Hope the kitty gets well, 11 years is doing well.

Things went well. I did have to get to the Autozone today to pick up some brake lines to finish things up. I also have to do some modifications to the TRE's to get finished. The ones I ordered new are longer than what was on it which didn't allow me to screw them into the tie rods enough to get it all back together. So, I've got to cut some of the threads off a couple of them and replace another.

I'm very thankful to have everyone's help with this upgrade. In all the threads I read on-line, I didn't have a true scope of the job until it was all torn apart in front of me. With everyone's help, it might not be so intimidating next time I have to go through it. Great learning experience for me, thanks again to all who came to help out...
