my 60 just turned 247K and i noticed she's doing a fair amount of leaking from her birfs -- :|

i've worked with others on doing them on my two 80s -- not a killer job, but i lack the tools.

of course, my toy dealer quoted me $1500 for the job -- which to me is about $1300 too high -- !!

if anyone is planning a birf job meetup in the northeast in the next few months and would like a helper, plus would like to help, please let me know here, or email me at eric@spbr.org.

thanks.

where do you live? I'm planning on doing my 60 soon, have all the parts on order. I've done my 80 series about a year ago, so I sort of remember the procedures.

i am south of buffalo -- about 5 hours drive from you, which isn't too bad.

we could knock them moth out in a day, if you'd like -- i have no real issues with them, as far as i know -- except their seeping.

ya mine are seeping as well. We could do them together if you want to. I have access to my father's garage, which is big enough for two cruisers. We have all the hand tools, air tools, parts cleaner, etc. to do the job. Let me know if you're serious about making the trip sometime.
