Antifreeze color - looks tan?

One of the few problems with the 80 series: there's no petcock. It's a plug. A petcock is a plug with a valve at 90°. Draining the coolant in this truck is a coolant wash for the lower left side of the engine block.
He probably means the petcock on the radiator

Go green it's easier to get and cheaper. 20 plus year old rubber hoses tend to blow at the worst time and the red it's hard to get in some areas

Pardon my ignorance, where is that plug bolt on the block?

I found some posts that had pictures back in 2010'ish.

Drivers side of engine near the shock tower??

DS, If you remove the tire its pretty much straight in front of you. IIRC.
Yep, it's the only bolt that goes directly into the block in that area. You might have to push the rubber fender guard thingy out of the way to see it. I think it's brass(or maybe the female end is a brass fitting?) and has a weird thread pattern IIRC, so be sure you don't bugger it up either removing or installing it.

Looks like a combination of green and red. Drain and fill with distilled water and run it for a bit then drain and do it again. Don't forget to disconnect the rear heater lines. Get EVERYTHING OUT before replacing the coolest... Or however you like. I'm OCD about such things...

Thanks for the help everyone. I will flush it and go back with Toyota Red unless anyone recommends a better or just as good alternative. Its not my primary vehicle so I don't have to drive it right now until the flush is done. I was asking to add something temporarily in case I had to drive it for some unknown reason until it was warm enough outside to flush it.

Thorough flush, then go with your favorite flavor.
Don't mix red and green.

I learnt the hard way, and had my cooling system clog up with sediment from incompatible coolants. New rad, New heater core, New thermostat, New hoses, thorough flush etc to fix it!

Is there a video on a coolant system overhaul on the 1FZ floating around somewhere?

Yes, but you'll have to ask Mr. Google to find it for you.

Doing the flush this weekend if it dries out enough. I think for simplicity I am going to go green. So any suggestions? Zerex, Preston Green, Peak etc? Since I still need to replace some hoses eventually it might be better than go with Toyota Red. Any suggestions and how much will I need? Thanks!

For my 18 wheeler's radiator we ran palmolive (yes the dishwashing soap) through the cooling system to flush it out. I had to flush it because the cootranny cooler failed and allowed the tranny synthetic oil to mix with the coolant. What a goopy mess! After rebuilding the tranny($$4k worth of preventative work) the mechanic told me to stick some palmolive in there, let it run, drain it, rinse and repeat. Till it was all clean! Worked great. I miss that old Kenworth!

I think I bought two gallons of the Prestone undiluted stuff and a few gallons of distilled water from Wally World. I don't recall exactly how much I ended up mixing up at a 50/50 ratio, but I know I got into the second gallon of the antifreeze. I don't think the water or the antifreeze "go bad" so it's not a bad thing to have some in the truck to do top offs or if something springs a leak.
