Finally had the motivation to install the HF antenna. No one manufactures a good mount for the 200 yet *"for the location i like"*, so I just said DIY the bracket from a 1/8” thick steel bar. Cold worked the two bends and a "twists" to clear the hatch door gap without chaffing.
The V/UHF antenna on the port side is motorized to fold. (Im more into ham radios than off roader, so I'm very aware of antenna hitting low tree branches.)
Also here some pictures of the V/UHF & HF faceplates positioning inside. V/UHF in the sunglasses holder, and the HF in the phone charging cubby that I do not use.

That antenna mount looks clean and sturdy! Nice work.

Btw crazy to think that 3/8ths is what my 40’s frame was from the factory. Much thinner now though. I guess they wanted it to flex over terrain.

Nice Work! you bend that in a vise or a press?

The V/UHF motorized mount is made by Diamond Antenna, Model is K9000. You have to select the options bottom bracket on how you gonna mount it. Mine is the one for large luggage rack mount. You can choose between 3 mounting options TM, LR, & RMO. TM-Trunk Lip Mount, LRM-Luggage Rack Mount & RMO-Luggage Rack Mount Oversize. I use these motor mounts on my Truck and RV for years with no problem. You will have an extra 12V wire from it into your car to fold it up & down

Here's a video of mine.

Nicely done!
