Mostly tube buggy. Maybe compleate. Still deciding if I should keep stock frame rails in the engine and maybe under the seats. No even sure if I will use the firewall. HREW for around the engine. rear frame section. DOM over my silly head. But Dad needs to order some steel for the bus, so he wants to buy a stick. All they have in stock is 0.134. Not 0.120

Access to protools 105B and A. Frymans B has hydro set up. I have the protools HMP200 plans half built with dies. Of course I am modiifieing it. Bigger jack, and frame.

Should I go with the 134? $60 for 20 feet. Or order in the 120?

If I am going with 134, can I get away with cage area too? or is 120 DOM stronger?

Yes I know to put the seam in a position not to split while bending, or impact.

I would be astounded if DOM .120 is stronger than .134 Mild.

I would order mild .120 if I were you :D Even more so if it is cheaper.
$3/ft for mild seems a bit pricy to me..

What is the OD of the tubing you are lookin for? I have a steel distribution company in Cali and can give you DOM or mild or even 4130 Chromoly if you'd like. I don't know what length you need, but I have some up on Ebay now. Just search SummitSteelInc and they should come up. Let me know and I'll give you the "Good Guy" price for being a LC lover.

While I really appreciate the great offer for discount steel I feel trolling threads for sales is kinda rude. I'm not a moderator and I really don't want to upset anyone offering a deal to us all but I do think there is is some loose guidelines being pushed a little here.....

Found some Mild .120 And delivered to the house for a lil over the price of gas to get it. Now I just need to get home to start building again

BTW Frydaddy used .134 on his. Then it was cheaper than ordering the .120. go figure.

I only see like 3 posts where he's "pimping" his steel. I would be happy if I mentioned I was looking for a part and someone offered me a better deal..

My bad.....He definatly has been nice enough about it....and I'm all about getting a good deal. Just seemed like the beginnings of some trolling action so I was trying to be nice about it!

No biggie with offers like that within a thread.
However, specific threads without tech belong in the Vendor section.

Thanks for the clarification Mace! :o :)
