the story with the sudden influx is that you guys are taking all our good cruisers....

Before I stumbled across this site I didn't realise how valuable a good original cruiser was. Us aussie's just take them for granted by the look of things. I wish we got the SWB 45 utes over here.

The one in the picture may have been a troopie originally eh? Looks like it has been painted in Australia Post red, but I doubt they would've had a purpose for such a vehicle. I reckon it looks ok...

just like the early 90's when you could bring in Euro cars to the US, MONEY. if these guys were not making money, they would not be bringing them into the US. too bad they are all RHD.

There's a guy in town that imported a dozen or so diesel troopys, I think this is one of them that had been converted to a PU. I actually saw the truck parked beside the street a couple of weeks ago when the little lady and I went to breakfast ... it's really clean. IIRC he was bringing a bunch in to finance one for himself, had a friend in Australia or something, we'll prolly see more on craigslist and eBay.
