Another headlight question

Hi guys, I'm new to this forum after having a '00 LC since it was new. I'm trying to find some aftermarket headlights to retro with HID's but I'm not having any luck. I realize there are some older threads that are kind of about this, but they didn't really have any info on aftermarket housings. Anything new out there?? I also tried asking on toyota nation, but it seems like less people read the LC fourms over there for some reason.

Don't know if you've already seen these but they are the only aftermarket projector housings I've seen for the LC 100. Anything else I guess would have to be custom made.

I think a nice HID retrofit would include the '06 LC wrap-around headlamps. Not sure if it would be compatible with your '00 grill though but worth looking into.

Well, a while back, I found these on ebay, and was really thinking about buying them to do a retro, but the seller was really flaky and didn't respone to any messages. I saw those other ones, but I'm not too crazy about the upper turn signal part. I was thinking about the 06/07 headlights too, but yea, I'm not sure if it'll fit. I even asked a parts guy at the dealer to see if the dimensions were the same, but he didn't know either.

Those headlamps are manufactured by a Taiwanese company called Depo. Definitely not OEM quality but not OEM price either. The lenses might "fog" up in a 2-3 years from the UV rays but at least the lenses are non-fluted which is important when doing an HID retrofit. Apparently, the turn signal are LED.

Buy them and then give us a report.

i have the depo clear corners...definately not OEM quality for sure, but not terrible either, it was acceptible to me and im pretty picky.

I am currently trying to get a set of the Depo lights from my agent in Taiwan. I will let you guys know how they install & work when I get them

Try searching "depo light" on eBay and hitting up one of those vendors. They could probably order it for you.

You know, I don't know what happend to them on ebay. That's where I saw them last and they've mysteriously disappeared, and I havent seen them there for a while. They've gotta be available somewhere on the net.

yea, ebay was the only place I've seen them. I think I saw them on another site, but I'm not sure. It's been almost a year since I've seen them on ebay though. I might try messaging one of the other depo guys on ebay though.
