Well finally after a whole ordeal with the transfercase being stuck on L4. I'm Finally driving it! I mush say that this is one sweet mod for sure. I took it out on the interstate and boy what a world of driffrence! specially with the new hi-po engine. I went from far right to far left lane, I'm lovin this thing big time. Not to mention it's soo much quieter too.
 
That is great news....:) I know I loved mine when I had it....great swap...sure wished it had come stock...

stock diff?
rpm at 65 and 70?

I'm close to makin the jump; I'm terrified about not being able to pull in 5th with 32s and stock diff and 2F

Thanks guy's! I'm running 4.11's with 33 inch tires. I'm cruising at 65 right around 2500rpm and 70MPH at around 2700rpm. Just the feeling of having that extra gear makes it that much more exiting when I'm jumping itno the interstate.

70 mph sounds a great cruiser speed ..

That sounds good !

Before H55F, my speedo indicates 80km/h when rpm is 2000, but now indicates 96 km/h. :)

My next mod will be the Dakkar HD / ARB Ft. & Rear 4.11s and 33s
Just another 5K....no really thats all it needs, well maybe the bumpers/dual batts and winch OK OK the extended feul tank and a snorkle... Oh yea and a TBI 350. OK maybe anothe 15K but thats it thats definitly it.

Sliders yes, but NO 350..I dont understand putting something that lo on the totum pole in a cruiser yeesh :)

IMHOP the V8 is a great mod!

More power, lighter, and I've heard you get better mileage. I have yet to hear anyone say they regretted the swap. Not to say the 2F isn't a great motor and will probably outlast a couple 350s, but to each his/her own.

But thats a whole other can of worms.
